"Mighty 5" Motorcycle Tour
7 riding days and 8 nights lodging
1400 miles

Utah is unique as it is the home of 5 very incredible national parks which the Utah Office of Tourism, www.visitutah.com promotes as the “Mighty 5”. We agree and we can take you and your bike through all of them plus a few extra destinations.

The first day of travel will take you through the country roads of central Utah, into your first national park, Zion, via the incredible east entrance and spend the evening in the eclectic town of Springdale. The next morning will give you time to explore the park using the shuttle buses. That afternoon you take the short ride to Bryce City and enjoying the sunset at Bryce Canyon National Park.

The next morning will offer a little more time for exploring the park before you ride Utah’s Highway 12 to Torrey, Utah. Highway 12 has been called one of the 10 most scenic roads in the United States and we know a couple of hidden spots along the way that won’t disappoint!

Day four, fuel up grab a box lunch (no guaranteed services for quite a while), visit Capitol Reef National Park, and travel through Southern Utah’s red rock wilderness to Natural Bridges National Monument to view some remarkable rock formations. You then travel down the Moki Dugway switchback, a beautiful 1000 foot unpaved (mostly) drop to the “Valley of the Gods”, Goosenecks State Park and head to Bluff, Utah for overnight accommodations in the red rocks where you can have one of the best steak dinners in the Southwest. Don’t worry about the switchbacks on the dugway, big bikes can handle it.

The next day you can back track south to Monument Valley, Arizona to see the classic iconic scenes used in western movies. Heading north again you will venture into Canyonlands National Park to a remote location called “Newspaper Rock”, one of the best examples of Native American petroglyphs in Utah. Then cruise a remote route heading north for a two night stay in Moab, Utah.

Your lay-over day will allow you to explore several of the incredible areas around Moab including Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park, all of which includes some of the iconic landscapes that have made Utah famous. Bring some hiking shoes for some short hikes.

Your last day will take you through the remote high mountains (10,000 ft.) of central Utah and back to Salt Lake City.

Seven days, 1400 miles, five national parks, two national monuments, incredible state parks. The "Mighty 5" plus a little more in our incredible state!
